Meritor Reports Was Selected By Daimler Trucks North America To Supply 14Xe ePowertrain For Next-Gen School Buses, No Terms Disclosed

Meritor, Inc. (NYSE: MTOR) today announced it will provide its Blue Horizon(tm) 14Xe(tm) integrated ePowertrain for the next generation all-electric Saf-T-Liner(r) C2 Jouley(r) school bus from Thomas Built Buses (TBB).

This is Meritor's first electric vehicle production award with a Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) brand. The intended agreement will span five years and is expected to start in January 2024.

Meritor's 14Xe ePowertrain system is in full production and suitable for a wide range of commercial vehicle applications across Classes 5-8.
