10:29 Friday, December 3, 2021 (RTTNews.com) - Smith & Wesson Brands, Inc. (SWBI) shares are falling more than 25 percent on Friday morning after the company reported lower net profit on reduced net sales for the second quarter from the previous year.

The company reported second-quarter net profit of $50.94 million compared to $52.24 million a year ago. Net sales were $230.5 million, down 7.3 percent from $248.73 million in the previous year.

Currently, shares are at $17.14, down 25.19 percent from the previous close of $22.91 on a volume of 2,651,963. For the 52-week period, the shares have traded in a range of $14.50-$39.61 on average volume of 815,582.
