RTTNews | Dec 2, 2021 12:22PM EST

12:21 Thursday, December 2, 2021 (RTTNews.com) - Virginia-based tech company BlackSky Technology Inc. (BKSY), dropped 8% in the market despite no corporate-related news by the company to affect the stock. Earlier this week, the company announced that it will launch two more satellites into space with SpaceX. This will make the satellites in the constellation 12. "Our high-revisit constellation reinforces our commitment to delivering real-time data and intelligence to our customers, which disrupts the industry status quo," said Nick Merski, BlackSky chief operations officer. The stock is currently trading hands at $8.00, down $0.61 or 7.05% from the previous close at $8.61. The stock opened at $8.46 in the morning and in the 52-week period, the shares have ranged between $7.39 and $17.47 per share.
