04:27 Monday, November 29, 2021 (RTTNews.com) - HepsiPay, a digital open wallet of Turkish e-commerce platform Hepsiburada (HEPS), said on Monday that it has inked a new payment deal with Paycell, the financial-technology arm of Turkcell (TKC), another Turkish firm, to enable the customers to shop quickly and easily on the Hepsiburada platform by using the new direct carrier billing capability on HepsiPay Wallet, without a bankcard.

HepsiPay General Manager Ozan Bayulgen commented: "This new and innovative payments feature on the Hepsiburada platform will help us to expand our total addressable market, and provide another way for Turkey's significant unbanked population to access the benefits of the digital and ecommerce revolution."

This new offer is expected to allow the Turkcell subscribers a simple way to shop on the Hepsiburada platform. And by enabling customers who may not have access to a bank or debit card to shop online, Hepsiburada is expected to expand its total addressable market in Turkey, where over 20 million people remain unbanked, Hepsiburada said in a statement.
