Shares of building products maker JELD-WEN Holding, Inc. (JELD) are down more than 5% in pre-market on Monday after the company's third-quarter revenue fell short of analysts' view.

06:57 Monday, November 1, 2021 (RTTNews.com) - Shares of building products maker JELD-WEN Holding, Inc. (JELD) are down more than 5% in pre-market on Monday after the company's third-quarter revenue fell short of analysts' view.

JELD-WEN posted revenue of $1.147 billion in the third quarter, higher than $1.113 billion in the same quarter a year ago, but missed the average estimate of 13 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters of $1.17 billion.

Net income in the third quarter increased to $40.5 million or $0.41 per share from $25.5 million or $0.25 per share in the comparable quarter last year, helped by income tax, as well as other income benefit.

Excluding items, earnings were $44 million or $0.45 per share. The consensus estimate was for $0.36 per share.

Looking forward, the company sees full-year revenue growth to be in the range of 10% to 12%. This compares with the consensus estimate of 11.3%.

Friday, JELD closed at $27.41, up $0.16 or 0.59%. The stock is currently at $26.04.
