09:54 Monday, October 11, 2021 (RTTNews.com) - Shares of cryptocurrency miner Bit Digital Inc. (BTBT) are currently trading at $12.74, up $1.39 or 12.24%, with trading volume of over 5.69 million versus an average volume of 21.7 million shares.

The company, on October 5, said it closed a previously announced private placement of 13.5 million ordinary shares. The company also issued to the investors unregistered warrants to purchase up to an aggregate of 10.1 million ordinary shares. The purchase price for one ordinary share and one warrant to purchase three-fourths of an ordinary share is $5.93.

The gross proceeds from the private placement were about $80 million before deducting placement agent fees and other estimated offering expenses.
