Pinnacle Shares Tumble 6%, Lowest In Two Years

13:58 Thursday, October 7, 2021 (RTTNews.com) - Arizona-based electricity company Pinnacle West Capital Corporation (PNW), tumbled 6% in the Thursday market despite the company not reporting any stock-specific reports to affect the shares. Pinnacle provides retail and wholesale electricity to around 1.3 million customers in the state of Arizona. It has 6,321 megawatts of generation capacity at its disposal. The stock of the company has fallen steadily since July and in the last six months, the shares have dropped 17%. The shares of the company took a nosedive on Thursday and are currently trading at $69.09, down $5.09 or 6.86% since the previous close at $74.18. The stock opened at $70.08 in the morning and in the 52-week period, the shares have ranged between $68.83 and $91.88 per share
