12:45 Thursday, September 30, 2021 (RTTNews.com) - Chinese e-retail brand, Onion Global Limited (OG) saw its stock jump 22% in the Thursday market after the company announced a new event called 'LUCA Elite Club' for the consumers.

According to the company, the event will educate the key opinion consumers (KOCs) about how to promote the in-house labels and strategic brands of the company, also known as the Luca brands. The company also said that these brands produce competitive products for the market.

Mr. Cong (Kenny) Li, Founder, and CEO of Onion Global said, "The 'LUCA Elite Club' events expand the shopping experience from online to offline, driving our technological innovation and Metaverse exploration, and strengthening the efficiency and capabilities of our omnichannel marketing layout. We set a key strategy to connect "Technology, Health, and People" together in a bid to develop more valuable and advanced Luca Brands for our consumers. We also reinforce the connection with brand partners through the 'LUCA Elite Club' events by continuously and precisely promoting the brands and products that lead to quantifiable monetization returns for our brand partners, and to reach a win-win situation for the brand partners, the KOCs, and the Company."

The shares of the company are trading hands at $8.69, up $1.89 or 27.77% than the previous close at $6.80. The stock opened at $8.26 in the morning and in the 52-week period, it has ranged between $2.76 and $11.71 per share.
