Shares of Virgin Galactic Holdings, Inc. (SPCE) are up more than 8% in the pre-market trade on Thursday on the news of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) clearance for further spaceflights.

07:17 Thursday, September 30, 2021 (RTTNews.com) - Shares of Virgin Galactic Holdings, Inc. (SPCE) are up more than 8% in the pre-market trade on Thursday on the news of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) clearance for further spaceflights.

Virgin Galactic had been prohibited from flying its SpaceShipTwo until the U.S FAA investigate about the trajectory deviation occurred during its flight in July, that carried the company's founder Richard Branson to the edge of the space.

Virgin Galactic said the corrective actions proposed by the company have been accepted and concluded the FAA inquiry.

SPCE closed Wednesday's regular trading at $22.56, down 3.55%. The stock is currently at $24.56.
