(RCAT) shares are surging on Monday morning trade after its subsidiary Skypersonic Inc. received a NASA contract to provide drone and rover software, hardware, and support for simulated Mars Mission. The company has not revealed the financial aspects of the deal.

NASA is planning a series of analog missions that will simulate year-long stays on the surface of Mars. During the mission, the crew will conduct simulated spacewalks and simulated operations by remote piloting Skypersonic drones and rover in a simulated Martian environment. Skypersonic's Dronebox real-time transoceanic remote piloting platform will drive the piloting of both the drones and the rover. Currently, RCAT shares are at $3.83, up 59.59 percent from the previous close of $2.40 on a volume of 82,976,772. For the 52-week period, the shares have traded in a range of $0.54 to $7.75 on a volume of 3,393,793.
