Dollar General Begins Construction On First Idaho Store

* Dollar General Corp (NYSE:DG) has announced its planned expansion into Idaho, increasing its presence into the 47th state.

* The company expects to open the store by spring 2022. Construction is underway on N. Old Highway 95 in Athol for the store.

* Dollar General operated more than 17,600 stores as of July 2021.

* Price Action: DG shares closed lower by 0.30% at $217.71 on Friday.
