07:19 Tuesday, September 21, 2021 (RTTNews.com) - The Bedminster-headquartered Aerie Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (AERI), an ophthalmic pharmaceutical company, on Tuesday announced the appointment of Benjamin McGraw, III, as its interim Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors, to replace Vicente Anido, who resigned as Chairman and CEO on September 17.

Meanwhile, the company said, it has started a search for a new Chief Executive Officer or CEO. Upon the appointment of a new CEO, the firm intends to separate the roles of Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Aerie said in a statement.
