Optical Cable Clocks 15% Sales Growth In Q3

* Optical Cable Corp (NASDAQ:OCC) reported third-quarter FY21 net sales growth of 14.6% year-on-year to $15.6 million.

* Optical Cable increased net sales in both its enterprise and specialty markets, including the wireless carrier market.

* Gross profit increased 17.8% to $4.1 million. The gross margin expanded 70 bps to 26.2%.

* EPS was $0.71 versus $(0.20) last year.

* Optical Cable held $0.12 million in cash and equivalents as of April 30.

* Price Action: OCC shares traded lower by 3.04% at $3.51 on the last check Monday.
