Rapid Micro Biosystems Set To Join Russell 2000, Russell 3000 And Russell Microcap Indexes

Rapid Micro Biosystems, Inc. (NASDAQ:RPID), an innovative life sciences technology company providing mission critical automation solutions to facilitate the efficient manufacturing and fast, safe release of healthcare products, today announced that it is set to join the Russell 2000(r), Russell 3000(r) and Russell Microcap(r) indexes, effective after the U.S. market opens on September 20, 2021, according to a preliminary list of quarterly IPO additions posted by FTSE Russell to their website late last month.

Membership in the US all-cap Russell 3000(r) Index, which remains in place for one year, means automatic inclusion in the large-cap Russell 1000(r) Index or small-cap Russell 2000(r) Index as well as the appropriate growth and value style indexes. FTSE Russell determines membership for its Russell indexes primarily by objective, market-capitalization rankings, and style attributes.
