10:43 Tuesday, August 31, 2021 (RTTNews.com) - Shares of healthcare communication solutions provider Spok Holdings, Inc. (SPOK) are up more than 23% Tuesday morning.

Monday, Spok Holdings said it received an acquisition proposal from Acacia Research Corporation (ACTG) for $10.75 per share to be paid in cash.

Spok 's Board intends to evaluate the proposal, the company said.

SPOK, currently at $9.72, has traded in the range of $7.16- $12.86 in the last 52 weeks.
