Advance Auto Parts (NYSE:AAP) reported quarterly earnings of $3.40 per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $3.03 by 12.21 percent. This is a 16.44 percent increase over earnings of $2.92 per share from the same period last year. The company reported quarterly sales of $2.65 billion which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $2.62 billion by 1.11 percent. This is a 5.92 percent increase over sales of $2.50 billion the same period last year.
