08:10 Monday, August 16, 2021 (RTTNews.com) - Heavy equipment dealer Cervus Equipment Corporation (CSQPF), on Monday announced its decision to be acquired by privately-owned John Deere Construction & Forestry equipment dealer, Brandt Tractor Ltd. for about $302 million to be paid in cash.

The purchase price of $19.50 per share represents a 37% premium to the 20-day volume-weighted average price of Cervus' shares for the period ending August 13, 2021.

The deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2021.
