07:15 Monday, August 16, 2021 (RTTNews.com) - RADA Electronic Industries Ltd. (RADA), a defense technology company focused on radar solutions, on Monday has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Indian defense and aerospace company Alpha Design Technologies Pvt. Ltd. to form a joint venture to manufacture and sell RADA's radars in India.

RADA, in partnership with Alpha Design, will offer locally made tactical radars tailored to suit unique requirements of the Indian Armed Forces.

This advanced technology is used in mobile short range air defense, counter UAV, counter mortars, artillery and rockets (C-RAM), active protection of armored vehicles, and others, the company said.

Dov Sella, RADA's CEO, said, "Our business strategy is to establish substantial local presence in our key markets. India is such a market for us, and we look forward to begin building our Indian entity with our partner ADTL."
