Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (CMTL), a global provider of secure wireless communications technologies, on Thursday said that during its fourth quarter of fiscal 2021, it was awarded by U.S. system integrator, multiple contracts totaling $3.6 million for X-band Solid-State Power Amplifiers (SSPA) and Block upconverters (BUC) for transportable satellite communication terminals.

09:55 Thursday, August 12, 2021 (RTTNews.com) - Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (CMTL), a global provider of secure wireless communications technologies, on Thursday said that during its fourth quarter of fiscal 2021, it was awarded by U.S. system integrator, multiple contracts totaling $3.6 million for X-band Solid-State Power Amplifiers (SSPA) and Block upconverters (BUC) for transportable satellite communication terminals.

Comtech, a world leader in high-power amplifiers, manufactures a wide variety of tube-based and solid-state power amplifiers for military and commercial satellite uplink applications.

The X-band SSPAs and BUCs, Comtech claimed, are rugged and compact, supporting voice, video and data communications and having a proven heritage across multiple military systems and operate with high reliability in certified terminals around the globe.

CMTL is currently trading at $26.29, up $0.12 or 0.46 percent from previous close.
