Comtech Telecommunications Corp. Awarded $1.0 Million Contract for High-Power Amplifiers

MELVILLE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 10, 2021--August 10, 2021-- Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (NASDAQ: CMTL), a global leading provider of next-generation 911 emergency systems and secure wireless communications technologies, announced today, that during its fourth quarter of fiscal 2021, it was awarded a $1.0 million contract for high-power amplifiers from a major domestic prime contractor.

These amplifiers, which utilize the latest in solid-state GaN transistor technology, are key transmit elements in a data communication system. They add to an installed base of Comtech solid-state high-power RF amplifiers previously delivered to this major domestic prime contractor.
