Ameren Q2 Sales $1.47B Beat $1.44B Estimate

Ameren (NYSE:AEE) reported quarterly earnings of $0.80 per share which missed the analyst consensus estimate of $0.88 by 9.09 percent. This is a 18.37 percent decrease over earnings of $0.98 per share from the same period last year. The company reported quarterly sales of $1.47 billion which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $1.44 billion by 2.22 percent. This is a 5.29 percent increase over sales of $1.40 billion the same period last year.
