eXp World Holdings, Inc. (EXPI) shares are rising more than 26 percent on Wednesday morning trade after the company reported second-quarter net income that surged from the prior year on more than double growth in revenue.

10:09 Wednesday, August 4, 2021 (RTTNews.com) - eXp World Holdings, Inc. (EXPI) shares are rising more than 26 percent on Wednesday morning trade after the company reported second-quarter net income that surged from the prior year on more than double growth in revenue.

The quarterly profit was $37.05 million or $0.24 per share, up from $8.24 million or $0.06 per share in the prior year. Analysts were looking for earnings of $0.09 per share on revenue of $728.82 million. Revenue for the quarter increased to $999.88 million from $353.53 million in the previous year.

The company declared a cash dividend of a third-quarter cash dividend of $0.04 to shareholders on record August 16, 2021.

Currently, shares are at $44.13, up 26.92 percent from the previous close of $34.77 on a volume of 1,460,128. For the 52-week period, the shares have traded in a range of $11.26-$90.00 on average volume of 1,235,934.
