12:04 Tuesday, August 3, 2021 (RTTNews.com) - Shares of recreation materials retailer Camping World Holdings, Inc. (CWH) are trading down 2 percent on Tuesday even as the company posted improved results in the second quarter.

The company recorded net income of $109.2 million or $2.33 per share in the second quarter, higher than $58.1 million or $1.54 per share a year ago. Excluding items, income was $119.3 million or $2.51 per share, compared to $144.9 million or $1.62 per share recorded in the previous-year quarter.

Quarterly revenues rose 28 percent to $2.1 billion from $1.6 billion in the same period last year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to post earnings of $2.32 per share on revenues of $2.08 billion in the second quarter.

Currently trading at $39.62, the stock has traded between $22.60 and $49.20 during the past 52 weeks.
