10:08 Thursday, July 29, 2021 (RTTNews.com) - Shares of enterprise software company Citrix Systems, Inc. (CTXS) are falling more than 15% Thursday morning after the company provided third-quarter and full-year outlook, lower than analysts' view.

For the third quarter, the company expects revenue in the range of $765 million to $775 million and adjusted EPS to be in the range of $0.85 to $0.90.

On average 10 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expect the company to report earnings of $1.42 per share on revenue of $850.45 million for the quarter.

Looking forward to the full year, the company sees revenue in the range of $3.22 billion to $3.25 billion and adjusted EPS to be in the range of $4.75 to $4.95. The consensus estimate for earnings is at $5.71 per share and for revenue is $3.39 billion.

The company's net income in the second quarter came down to $62.77 million or $0.50 per share from $112.91 million or $0.90 per share in the same quarter a year ago.

Earnings, excluding items, of $1.24 per share, beat the average estimate of analysts at $1.19 per share.

Revenue for the quarter increased to $812 million from $798.93 million a year ago, however, missed the consensus estimate at $845.97 million.

The company's Board declared a quarterly dividend of $0.37 per share to be paid on September 24, to shareholders of record on September 10.

CTXS, currently trading at $96.63, touched a new low of $94.66 this morning.
