(CPF) reported that its net income for the second quarter of 2021 was $18.7 million or $0.66 per share up from $9.9 million, or $0.35 per share last year. Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report earnings of $0.55 per share. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Net interest income for the second quarter of 2021 was $52.1 million, compared to $49.3 million in the year-ago quarter. On July 27, 2021, the company's Board declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.24 per share on its outstanding common shares. The dividend will be payable on September 15, 2021 to shareholders of record at the close of business on August 31, 2021.
