* Nexstar Media Group Inc (NASDAQ:NXST) appointed Lee Ann Gliha as the CFO effective Aug. 9.

* Gliha will succeed Thomas E. Carter, who is the CFO since 2009, was also named the COO in Oct. 2020.

* Gliha most recently was the MD at Jefferies LLC., since 2016.

* Price action: NXST shares closed higher by 0.99% at $144.57 on Friday.
