Cellcom Israel Announces Dismissal of a Purported Class Action Filed Against the Company

Cellcom Israel Ltd. (NYSE:CEL) announced the dismissal of the recently announced purported class action filed against the Company, alleging that the Company misled its customers by failing to disclose certain information in relation to a certain service. The amount claimed from the Company, had the lawsuit been certified as a class action, was estimated by the plaintiff to be approximately NIS 179 million.
