Texas-based asset management company Equus Total Return Inc. (EQS), saw its shares lose 9% in the Street on Tuesday after Custodian Ventures LLC announced a 5.1% stake in the company.

11:11 Tuesday, July 20, 2021 (RTTNews.com) - Texas-based asset management company Equus Total Return Inc. (EQS), saw its shares lose 9% in the Street on Tuesday after Custodian Ventures LLC announced a 5.1% stake in the company.

According to David Lazar, the CEO of Custodian Ventures, "We invested in EQS due to the Company's stated intention to pursue a transformative transaction that would result in its restructuring into an operating company and the steps that management and the Board of Directors have taken to date to facilitate such a potential strategic transformation."

The shares are currently trading at $2.23 down $0.22 or 8.97% from their previous close at $2.45. The shares opened at $2.45 in the morning and in the 52-week period, the shares have ranged between, $1.01 and $2.9.
