DiDi To Takedown 25 Chinese Apps For Violating Privacy

* DiDi Global Inc (NYSE:DIDI) will remove 25 apps for violating PRC's Cybersecurity Law.

* On Friday, Cyberspace Administration of China confirmed that 25 apps operated by DiDi, including the apps used by users and drivers, had the problem of collecting personal information.

* China's Uber Technologies Inc (NYSE:UBER) equivalent estimates this move to affect its revenue in China.

* DiDi recently lowered its U.S. initial public offering valuation amid China's growing tech crackdown.

* Price action: DIDI shares traded lower by 3.16% at $11.65 in the premarket session on the last check Monday.
