15:48 Friday, July 2, 2021 (RTTNews.com) - Ride-hailing service provider from China, DiDi Global Inc., (DIDI) shares plunged 6% on Friday, two days after the company got listed in one of the biggest debuts in the stock market. Chinese cybersecurity watchdogs have filed a security probe against the company related to national security and public interest.

Cyberspace Administration of China are investigating a varied range of antitrust and data security, as the Chinese government strives to curb the influence of big internet companies and control their usage of data of millions of users. The company has stopped new user registration as the investigation goes on.

The shares are trading hands at $15.15, down $1.25 or 7.63% from their previous close at $16.40. The shares opened at $14.96 in the morning and in the 52-week period the shares have moved between $14.10 and $18.01.
