Charles & Colvard Joins Russell Microcap Index Today

Charles & Colvard, Ltd. (NASDAQ:CTHR) (the "Company"), a globally recognized fine jewelry company specializing in lab created moissanite and lab grown diamonds, announced today the Company's addition to the Russell Microcap(r) Index, effective after the US market opens on June 28, 2021, as a part of the Russell indexes annual reconstitution.

Membership in the Russell Microcap(r) Index, which remains in place for one year, means automatic inclusion in the appropriate growth and value style indexes. FTSE Russell determines membership for its Russell indexes primarily by objective, market-capitalization rankings and style attributes.

"Our addition to the Russell Microcap Index is a testament to the team's focus on disciplined growth over the past three quarters," said Don O'Connell, President and CEO of Charles & Colvard. "Since the leadership transition last June, we've experienced continuous positive momentum and joining the Russell Microcap Index is another important milestone for the Company. We believe this added exposure will broaden our reach and bring additional value to our shareholders."

Russell indexes are widely used by investment managers and institutional investors for index funds and as benchmarks for active investment strategies. Approximately $10.6 trillion in assets are benchmarked against Russell's US indexes. Russell indexes are part of FTSE Russell, a leading global index provider.
