Waitr Holdings Says On Jun. 22 Entered License, Release And Settlement Agreement To Settle All Claims In Waiter.com, Inc. v. Waitr Holdings Inc. and Waitr Inc.; Will Pay Plaintiff $4.7M In Cash

On June 22, 2021, Waitr Holdings Inc. (the "Company") entered into a License, Release and Settlement Agreement (the "Settlement") to settle all claims in the litigation captioned Waiter.com, Inc. v. Waitr Holdings Inc. and Waitr Inc., Civil Action No. 2:16-cv-01041, filed in the United States District Court for the Western District of Louisiana. Pursuant to the Settlement, the Company agreed, among other things, to pay the plaintiff $4.7 million in cash.
