Massachusetts-based commercial and municipal fleet electrification company XL Fleet Corp. (XL), are up 4% driven by the news of a collaboration agreement with Rubicon to offer services to the latter's partners.

15:01 Thursday, June 24, 2021 (RTTNews.com) - Massachusetts-based commercial and municipal fleet electrification company XL Fleet Corp. (XL), are up 4% driven by the news of a collaboration agreement with Rubicon to offer services to the latter's partners.

Rubicon is a smart waste and recycling company that works with businesses and governments across the globe. The partnership will help XL to increase its customer base as it will gain access to Rubicon's 7000 vendors and hauler partners.

Tod Hynes, Founder and President at XL Fleet said, "The market opportunity to help electrify the waste and recycling industry is significant as fleets look to meet their sustainability goals, and this collaboration expands and advances our existing efforts to capitalize on this growing opportunity."

The shares are up $0.32 or 3.75% to $8.72 from $8.40 on the bell on Wednesday. The shares opened at $8.49 in the morning and have ranged between $5.41 and $35.00 in the 52-week period.
