H.B. Fuller Company (FUL) Wednesday reported first-quarter net income of $49.1 million or $0.90 per share, up from $31.6 million or $0.61 per share last year.

17:23 Wednesday, June 23, 2021 (RTTNews.com) - H.B. Fuller Company (FUL) Wednesday reported first-quarter net income of $49.1 million or $0.90 per share, up from $31.6 million or $0.61 per share last year.

Adjusted earnings for the quarter rose to $0.94 per share from $0.68 per share last year.

Revenues for the quarter rose 22.7 to $827.9 million from $674.6 million last year.

Organic revenue increased 18.8% versus the second quarter last year. Organic revenue was up 9.5% when compared with the non-COVID-impacted second quarter of 2019.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected earnings of $0.92 per share on revenues of $764.37 million for the quarter.
