10:16 Wednesday, June 23, 2021 (RTTNews.com) - Pennsylvania-based Aluminium company Alcoa Corporation (AA) gained 4% in morning trading on Wednesday against no news from the company to contribute to the movement.

The shares are currently trading at $35.06, 3.41%, or $1.15 higher than $33.91 on the bell on Tuesday. While opening, the share was $35.08 and in the 52-week period, the shares have traded between $10.43 and $44.42.

Alcoa is a global company that produces and sells aluminum, aluminum ore, and other bi-products of the metal. The company also has hydropower plants that produce electricity for industrial clients. It changed its name from Alcoa Upstream Corporation to Alcoa Corporation in 2016.
