07:48 Thursday, June 17, 2021 (RTTNews.com) - Brady Corporation (BRC) Thursday announced that it acquired barcode scanning solutions provider The Code Corporation for about $173 million.

Brady, the maker of identification solutions and workplace safety products, believes that the acquisition of Code better positions it as a full-service provider of industrial track-and-trace applications.

Code forecasts sales of nearly $50 million for the year ending July 31, 2022.

Brady expects EBITDA of nearly $10 million from Code for the fiscal year ending July 31, 2022, inclusive of integration-related costs.
