10:25 Friday, June 11, 2021 (RTTNews.com) - Shares of Resolute Forest Products Inc. (RFP) are up more than 5% Friday morning.

Thursday, the company has declared a special cash dividend of $1.00 per common share payable on July 7 for holders of record at the close of business on June 28.

The company also announced that it has reduced debt by $180 million in the second quarter and also plans to invest $50 million in its wood products operations.

RFP, currently at $13.59, has traded in the range of $1.87- $17.65 in the last one year.
