Genetic Technologies Shares Were Halted on the ASX 'in Anticipation of an Update Regarding the Company's COVID-19 Serious Disease Risk Test'

Pursuant to ASX Listing Rule 17.1, Genetic Technologies Limited (NASDAQ:GENE) requests a trading halt in anticipation of an update regarding the Company's COVID-19 Serious Disease Risk Test. The trading halt will remain in place until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Tuesday 1 June 2021, or until the release of the announcement in respect of the above matter. The Company is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted.
