The company's profit totaled NT$9.13 billion, or NT$1.13 per share. This compares with NT$8.55 billion, or NT$1.07 per share, in last year's first quarter.

The company's revenue for the quarter rose 4.0% to NT$50.10 billion from NT$48.15 billion last year.
