HOUSTON, Nov. 03, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Bellicum Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq:BLCM), a leader in developing novel, controllable cellular immunotherapies for cancers, today announced the closing of its underwritten offering of 1,040,000 shares of common stock, pre-funded warrants to purchase 3,109,378 shares of common stock and accompanying warrants to purchase up to 4,149,378 shares of common stock. Each share of common stock was sold together with a warrant to purchase one share of common stock at a combined offering price of $6.025 and each pre-funded warrant to purchase one share of common stock was sold together with a warrant to purchase one share of common stock at a combined offering price of $6.024. The exercise price of eachpre-fundedwarrant is $0.001 per share and the exercise price of each accompanying warrant to purchase common stock is $6.50 per share.

The gross proceeds to Bellicum from the offering were approximately $25.0 million, before deducting underwriting discounts and commissions and other offering expenses payable by Bellicum, and excluding any proceeds that may be received upon exercise of the common warrants.
