InterDigital Extends Sharp's Patent License Agreement

* InterDigital Inc's (NASDAQ: IDCC) patent holding subsidiaries have renewed their global multi-year non-exclusive royalty-bearing patent license agreement with Sharp Corporation (OTC:SHCAY).

* The agreement, which was slated to expire in 2021, will continue to encompass Sharp's 3G and 4G mobile product sales.

* Sharp has been a constant licensee of InterDigital since 1998.

* Price action: IDCC shares closed higher by 0.29% at $73.65 on Monday.
