Ampio Highlights Preclinical Research Findings For Ampion

Ampio Pharmaceuticals (NYSE:AMPE), a biopharmaceutical company focused on the advancement of immunology-based therapies for prevalent inflammatory conditions for which there are limited treatment options, today announced findings of pre-clinical research demonstrating that Ampio's lead drug candidate, Ampion(tm), provides some of the same anti-inflammatory effects as the steroid dexamethasone but without the significant adverse events associated with steroids.
