Kazia Therapeutics Shares Were Halted on the ASX; Pending Conclusion of Negotiations Regarding Potential in-licensing Transaction

In accordance with ASX Listing Rule 17.1, Kazia Therapeutics Limited (NASDAQ:KZIA) requests an immediate trading halt in respect of its ordinary shares from the commencement of trading today, pending the conclusion of negotiations regarding a potential in-licensing transaction. In requesting the trading halt, the Company provides the following information: (a) unless otherwise requested, the Company requests the trading halt to remain in place until the commencement of trading on Tuesday, 20 April 2021; (b) the Company is seeking the trading halt to assist in managing its disclosure obligations and maintaining an orderly market in the trading of the Company's shares, and to ensure that trading does not take place in an uninformed market; and (c) the Company is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted, or of any other information necessary to inform the market about the trading halt
