BK Technologies Corporation's BKR 5000 Selected By Washington Department Of Natural Resources; Financial Terms Not Disclosed

BK Technologies Corporation (NYSE:BKTI) announced that its BKR 5000 has been selected for purchase and deployment by the Washington Department of Natural Resources (WA DNR), an organization with more than 5.6 million acres of forest, range, agricultural, aquatic, and commercial lands benefitting public schools, state institutions, and county services.

WA DNR has used our D-Series, then KNG-Series, and now is starting a migration to BKR with their initial order of the 5000, a sign of enduring confidence in BK Technologies' extended legacy of reliable public safety communications products."

The BKR 5000 comes in three tiers allowing maximum flexibility and customization for the user's mission-critical needs and has been designed to meet the requirements of today's tough Public Safety communications environment. The BKR 5000 was designed and developed by the BK Technologies engineering team with extensive input from customers to incorporate the features and options needed by first responders.

The new BKR 5000 is expected to be a platform that enhances BK's ability to address significant new vertical markets leading to expanded growth and market share.
