(AQUA) are rising over 2% Tuesday morning, after the company announced that it has acquired privately-held Water Consulting Specialists Inc. (WCSI). The terms of the deal remains undisclosed. The company noted that the acquisition will strengthen Evoqua's portfolio of high-purity water systems and enable the company to further expand in key industrial markets.

The stock, which has been trading in the range of $12.50 - $31.63 for the past one year, is currently trading at $28.12, up $0.61 or 2.22%, with trading volume of over 213K versus an average volume of 1.70 million shares.
