'Halftime Report' Traders Share Their Thoughts On Auto Stocks

On CNBC's "Fast Money Halftime Report," traders spoke about Raymond James' upgrade of Advance Auto Parts, Inc. (NYSE:AAP).

Stephen Weiss owns Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) in the space. He said that people are buying cars to avoid mass transportation because of COVID-19 so there is a real pick up in car sales. He bought Ford because its F-150 model had the best month ever.

Joe Terranova also likes the auto space and his watch list includes PPG Industries, Inc. (NYSE:PPG), O'Reilly Automotive Inc (NASDAQ:ORLY), Lithia Motors Inc (NYSE:LAD) and Sensata Technologies Holding PLC (NYSE:ST).
