VEON Names Artashes Davtyan As Beeline Uzbekistan CEO

* VEON Ltd (NASDAQ: VEON) announced Artashes Davtyan's appointment as CEO of Beeline Uzbekistan, effective 15 March 2021.

* Davtyan is an FMCG industry veteran and most recently served as Head of Private Label in Yandex NV's (NASDAQ: YNDX) digital retail delivery business, Yandex Lavka.

* Davtyan succeeds Sergey Afonin, whose departure details were not disclosed.

* Price action: VEON shares are down 0.57% at $1.74 in the pre-market session on the last check Monday.
