Royal Caribbean Group Announces Proposed $1.5B Common Stock Offering, Will Use Proceeds For 'general corporate purposes'

MIAMI, March 1, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- Royal Caribbean Group (NYSE:RCL) (the "Company") today announced that it has commenced an underwritten public offering of $1.5 billion of shares of common stock of the Company. The Company expects to use the net proceeds from the offering for general corporate purposes.

Morgan Stanley is acting as underwriter for the offering of common stock. A shelf registration statement relating to the shares of common stock has been filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (the "SEC") and has become effective. The offering may be made only by means of a prospectus supplement and an accompanying base prospectus. A preliminary prospectus supplement and accompanying base prospectus relating to the offering will be filed with the SEC and will be available on the SEC's website at www.sec.gov. Copies of the preliminary prospectus supplement and accompanying base prospectus relating to the offering may be obtained from Morgan Stanley & Co.
