* Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) - The FDA said added evaluations will be needed in order to assess the effects of the J&J COVID-19 vaccine for prevention of asymptomatic infection. Efficacy of the vaccine on a 14-day period was around 73% while efficacy over a 28-day period was about 82%. The FDA said three vaccine recipients had severe adverse effects from the vaccine.

* Target (TGT) - Shares could see sympathy price action following earnings out of near peers TJX Companies (TJX) Wednesday morning and out of Macy's (M) Tuesday morning. TJX shares were down about 3% Wednesday following its earnings.
