The company's bottom line came in at $11.38 million, or $0.93 per share. This compares with $12.24 million, or $0.99 per share, in last year's second quarter.

Excluding items, Standex International Corp reported adjusted earnings of $12.68 million or $1.05 per share for the period.

The company's revenue for the quarter rose 1.7% to $156.3 million from $153.7 million last year.
